
The Lendistry Small Biz Shot Clock 2025 Contest
Women-owned small businesses in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio are invited to take their shot during the WNBA All Star Weekend in Indianapolis!
The Lendistry Small Biz Shot Clock 2025 Contest will be held in Indianapolis from 12:00 – 5:00 pm on Friday, July 18th.
Our panel will include small business experts as well as WNBA personalities, and the event will be highly publicized!
Nominated businesses must have been in operation for more than 2 years!
The judges will select the winners to receive a little small business growth assist.
First place will receive a $5,000 small business growth grant from Lendistry.
Two runners up will each receive a $2,000 small business growth grant from Lendistry.

*Official Rules: The contestant nomination period ends on June 27, 2025 at 5 pm EST and the winners will be selected on July 18, 2025. To be validly nominated for consideration, all information requested in the Nomination Form must be complete and accurate as of the date of submission. Businesses must have a principal place of business in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan or Ohio, and meet the following eligibility requirements: Operating for 2 years or more, and women-owned. Finalists will be selected by Lendistry based upon the evaluators’ subjective evaluation of the nominator’s response to the final narrative prompt in the Nomination Form. All finalists will be decided on or before July 17, 2025, and will be notified of their selection via email from Lendistry.
To be eligible for a prize, all finalists selected to participate in the Lendistry Small Biz Shot Clock 2025 Contest must be able to attend the event in person from 12:00 pm – 5 pm EST in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 18, 2025, and all participants must agree to be photographed and recorded during the event, and to the use of their name, likeness, and any information submitted in the Nomination Form or during the event for marketing purposes without further compensation or right or approval, unless prohibited by law. Finalists will present a pitch in under 5 minutes explaining why their small business should be awarded a grant. Finalists will be evaluated by a panel of judges, who will be a mixture of experienced business leaders and WNBA personalities. Prize winners will be selected by the panel based upon the quality and creativity of the presentation, the presenters’ ability to respond to panelist questions, the potential viability of the business idea, and other subjective factors. After all finalists have presented, the judges’ panel may, but is not required to, ask certain finalists to return to answer additional questions. The judges will select the top three finalists for prizes as follows: First Place will receive a $5,000 grant; and the remaining two finalists will each receive a $2,000 grant.
To be eligible to claim a prize, Lendistry must be able to verify the accuracy of all information provided in the Nomination Form, during the finalist presentation, and in response to any question asked by the judges’ panel. Winners must also provide IRS Form W-9 information for the prize recipient, and acknowledge that Lendistry will file a Form 1099 with the IRS to report the prize amount.
